The Clarion Cork - discrimination?

Had a little chuckle to myself just now while browsing through the various packages on offer for the Jazz fest weekend in Cork city and I spotted that on certain rooms "no stag or hen parties permitted". That's right, some rooms.

I'd really love to know how they enforce this? Or better yet, why are they "allowed" to book some rooms and not others? Is there an area of the hotel quarantined complete with karaoke machines, cocktails, endless booze and chocolates in the shape of willys and boobs?

Either way, fair play to them for making more room for the rest of us muck savages :)
